Youth Basketball

HOOP IT UP

Basketball programs for ages 4-12 years.  Youth basketball is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. YMCA youth basketball has no bench warmers! Every child plays while making friends and learning new techniques. The YMCA is where most children receive their first experience with sports in a non-competitive environment. We continue to be that place to nurture the potential of children and provide teamwork opportunities in a fun, supportive way.

YMCA youth sports encourage healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, positive self– image and a sense of fair play. Through our caring staff and coaches, we help your child develop the skills fundamental not only to play the sport, but also to be successful in the community such as cooperation, commitment, dedication and sportsmanship.
