Youth Basketball

The YMCA is where most children receive their first experience with sports in a non-competitive environment. We continue to be that place to nurture the potential of children and provide teamwork opportunities in a fun, supportive way. 

 

HOOP IT UP

Basketball programs for ages 3-8 years.  Youth basketball is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. YMCA youth basketball has no bench warmers! Every child plays while making friends and learning new techniques. 

Basketball Information

Kids will learn dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.

 

Please Note:

  • Face masks are OPTIONAL for all individuals. Please be respectful of everyone’s choices. We are all in this together.
     
  • Parents & kids must remain in the gymnasium during the program. 
     
  • Restrooms are available on the third floor.
     
  • Please maintain social distancing.
     
  • If not a Y member, all over 16 years old must provide photo identification to enter the facility.

3-4 yrs, 5-6 yrs & 7-8 yrs

Monday OR Thursday Practices

4:00-7:00pm
Practices will be 45 minutes per team

AND Saturday Games

10:00am-1:00pm
Games will be 45 minutes
