IMPROVE YOUR BALANCE, GAIT & CONFIDENCE

Urban Poling Activator Poles are not just for walking.  Join us for some fun, dynamic exercises with poles.  Using these specialized poles while exercising helps to encourage an upright posture while supporting both sides of your body.  The specialized ledge on the handle also promotes core strength.

 

Program Details:

Introduction to Urban Poling, as well as support for folks who prefer a more leisurely pace, includes learning & practicing proper technique, warm-up and cool-down, and staff supported walks for approximately 35 minutes of the 60 minute class.  Urban Poling alumni can join us for warm-up & cool-down then team up to walk a faster rate/different route.

 

Sessions typically take place during the summer months. Keep an eye on this page for future 2025 dates.
