The YMCA is committed to building assets.
The Search Institute has identified 40 Assets as the essential building blocks kids need to grow into healthy caring adults. Many of the assets are the very things that YMCA's have been providing for years.

Asset Building helps kids succeed.
Our leaders emphasize how the asset approach equips young people to be independent, strong, secure and more confident.

Our goal is to be proactive and
build on kids strengths. YMCA programs & staff meet kids where they are and help them grow from there.
